This dish is the star of the Filipino potlucks and any kind of celebrations. This is not the centerpiece but this is the first to be wiped out on the table. This crunchy and yummy lumpia made of vegetables and ground pork. It's a simple dish of sauted slices of choice vegetables, it's up to you to decide what veggies you prefer, mostly the crunchy ones like bean sprouts, chayote, cabbage, add some spices to taste and some shredded carrots.
You remove the sauted veggies from the pan and let it cool then you wrap it inside a spring roll wrap or crepe or what we Filipinos call, a lumpia wrapper. You wrap it in style that you fasten the edges and make sure the veggies are secured inside the wrap. Then, you deep fry in hot oil for 2 minutes until the lumpia is golden brown. It is then ready to serve and could be dipped in ketchup or vinegar with spices, whichever you prefer.
Bigla ako nagutom😊
My favorite pahinge😍
