"Sarsa" - A Native Recipe of Romblon, Philippines

Hi Blurt Fam!
May nais akong ibahaging ' Historic Food ' ng Romblon. Isa ito sa mga pinaka paborito kong pagkain dito, masarap at simpleng gawin. Natutunan ko ito sa aking asawa, nagtitinda kami minsan ng sarsa kapag maraming huling hipon. Dahil sa panahon (tag-ulan), mahirap maghanap dahil sa baha inaanod ang karamihan ng hipon. Gusto ko lang ibahagi ito sa inyo para kahit di pa kayo nakakarating ng romblon ay magagawa nyo kung pano timplahin ang sarsa. Narito ang mga kailangan at paraan.

Ingredients:
labuyo 15 piraso
sibuyas 1 piraso
bawang 2 cloves
niyog 8 piraso
hipon sa sapa 1/4
asin 1 1/2 tablespoon
food seasoning 1 whole

Procedure:

  1. Dikdiking maigi ang sili, asin, bawang, sibuyas, food seasoning at hipon.
  2. Ihalo ang niyog hanggang sa madurog ng maayos ang hipon.
  3. Kapag nadurog na ng maayos at kumapit na sa niyog ang mga sangkap, maaari na itong ihain.

Hi Blurt Fam!
I want to share Romblon's 'Historic Food'. This is one of my favorite foods here, delicious and simple to make.
I learned this from my husband, sometimes we sell 'Sarsa' when we have a lot of it.
Due to the weather (rainy season), it is difficult to find because of the flood drifting most of the shrimp.
I just want to share this with you so that even if you have not yet reached romblon you can do how to make 'Sarsa'.
Here are the Ingredients and method.

Ingredients:
snipe 15 pieces
onion 1 piece
garlic 2 cloves
coconut 8 pieces
shrimp in the creek 1/4
salt 1 1/2 tbsp.
food seasoning 1 whole

Procedure:

  1. Finely chop the chili, salt, garlic, onion, food seasoning and shrimp.
  2. Mix the coconut until the shrimp is well crushed.
  3. Once the ingredients are well crushed and the coconut sticks to it, it can be served.
