EASTER CELEBRATION WITH THE LESS PRIVILEGED

Preamble
The celebration of Easter for me will never be complete if the less privileged do not go home with smiles , this is the best reason for putting together a little moment of excitement where the poor too can have a sense of belonging .
Easter is a significant Christian festival that commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a time of joy, hope, and renewal, symbolizing the triumph of life over death. The celebration of Easter is rooted in the belief that Jesus, after being crucified and buried, rose from the dead on the third day, demonstrating God’s power and love for humanity. For me, celebrating Easter with the less privileged holds special meaning to my life .

It is an opportunity to share the spirit of Easter by extending kindness, love, and compassion to those who may be facing challenges or hardships in their lives. It is a reminder that Easter is not just about attending church services or enjoying festive meals, but also about reaching out to others and making a positive difference in their lives.
Recently, I had the privilege of organising an Easter celebration for a group of less privileged children and their families. We had a wonderful time together, filled with laughter, joy, and peace . As. Part of activities linking up to this day , the kids had a tour around the zoo where they could see some animals and learn about them. They also had spelling competitions and other social activities to mark this day .

Indeed everyone was glad that such a forum was created . This event no doubt will be an annual event .
