Harry Potter una de las franquicias que marcaron una época en la industria de Hollywood, desde su primera aparición con esta película, dio inicio a una de las fanaticadas más grandes del cine, sino también en lo que para mi respecta, a una de las sagas que mantuvo su calidad desde principio a fin, y para esta ocasión hablare desde sus origines con la piedra filosofal.

Esta película está basada en la saga literaria del mismo nombre creada por la británica J.K Rowling, del género aventuras y fantasía, la adaptación al cine de esta primera película estuvo a cargo del director Chris Columbus y tuvo su estreno en el 2001, para los protagonistas principales obtuvieron el papel los jóvenes Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, a los cuales les seguiría en otros papeles; Richard Harris, Maggie Smith, Robbie Coltrane, Alan Rickman e Ian Hart.

La Magia de Harry Potter; Los años 2000s fue de los años en donde las fantasías inundaron las salas de cine y esta saga no fue la excepción, desde los primeros minutos de la cinta nos dan un comienzo magistral, mostrando el asesinato de los padres de Harry, como luego Minerva McGonagall junto con Albus Dumbledore llevan al desamparado pequeño a la casa de los Dursley, toda esta secuencia esta plagada de todos los elementos cinematográfico que hacen adictivo a un film, el factor de suspenso muy bien logrado, el misticismo de la saga, la curiosidad de seguir viendo la película, todo esto en los primeros minutos, arrancando una de las mejores secuencias iniciales en la historia del cine a mi parecer.

La puesta en escena junto a la banda sonora, son los factores que más destacaría de esta primera película, la verdad que Jhon Williams marco uno de los himnos a la magia mas importante para cultura pop, todos al cerrar los ojos y escuchar el tema principal, inmediatamente te lleva a pensar en Harry Potter, en la magia y en todo el misticismo que lo rodea, la cinematografía intacta, cada toma esta donde debería y el escenario esta perfectamente recreado del libro.
