Changing the subject...
Different, of course. It is not the same a design that presents you daily to one that puts on sale, because as you have the intention of selling it is more meticulous in everything. The challenge is daily for a month, there are always things like the arms today that simply did not want to come out right in terms of their position.
Remembering also the practical mode, trial and error, we see the way we advance and grow in this medium of illustration to these styles.
A logo is not the same as an art form, this requires hours and hours of work and red eyes. It is not the same as thinking about a company's brand or trying to give life to a character.
Today we go for the 5th day of the challenge of our gris.visa, which corresponds to : Waterbend. I don't know if I understood the idea very much, but I drew a heroine that manipulates the sea waters with a gigantic wave. It's not Chibi nor kawaii, it seems more anime.

Que pena, no querÃa perderme un dÃa y mantenerme al dÃa en la publicación pero, el Inter me volvió a jugar una mala pasada y aunque los diseños los hago diario pues, la publicación se atrasa. Sin embargo, seguiré participando en el reto porque me encanta y continuo animando a todos los dibujantes HIVE a participar, por ahora me pondré al dÃa.
Cambiando el tema...
Diferente, claro que sÃ. No es lo mismo un diseño que te presente a diario a uno que ponga a la venta, pues como tienes la intención de venderlo se es más minucioso en todo. El reto es diario por un mes, simplemente hay cosas como los brazos hoy que sencillamente no me querÃan salir bien en cuanto a su posición.
Recordando también el modo práctica, ensayo y error, vemos la forma que avanzamos y vamos creciendo en este medio de la ilustración a estos estilos.
No es lo mismo un logo a un arte asÃ, esto requiere de horas y horas de trabajo y ojos rojos. No es lo mismo que pienses en la marca de una empresa a que le intentes dar vida a un personaje.
Hoy vamos por el dÃa 5 del reto de nuestra gris.visa, que corresponde a : agua control. No se si entendà mucho la idea, pero dibujé a una heroÃna que manipula las aguas del mar con una gigantesca ola. No es Chibi ni kawaii, parece más anime.

Mientras mi inter prestado siga teniendo fallas, deberé trabajar con un lienzo pequeño. Lo cual reduce mucho la calidad del dibujo.
Acerca de la temática de mi diseño, se me ocurrió dibujarle un abundante cabello con formas de ola.
Siempre tengo problemas con los fondos de mis diseños, muchas veces no se cómo trabajarlos, aunque adoro ver diseños que otros hacen en fondos sencillos, pero en tratar de hacerlo diferente, termino sobre cargándolo muchas veces.

Una paleta de colores llena de mucho azul...
No hice lineas base de las olas pues pensaba hacerlas lo más realista que pudiera. Con tanto azul, estaba segura que entre el no distinguirlos muy bien me traerÃa algunos problemas. pues a mis ojos se perdÃan algunos colores. Aún asà continué.
A color palette full of lots of blue...
I didn't make base lines of the waves because I wanted to make them as realistic as possible. With so much blue, I was sure that not distinguishing them very well would bring me some problems. Even so, I continued.
Olas, Cabello, Sombreado y ojos. /
Las olas: las traté de dibujar algo realistas, para ello usé uno de los pinceles nuevos que descargué de forma gratuita del mismo programa: Whatercolor (Rough), es genial. Solo jugué con las sombras.
El cabello: trabajo de la misma forma de siempre, con el pincel pluma tinta y aerografÃa, si quieres aprender un poco sobre esto, te invito a mi canal, allà tengo varios tutoriales.
Sombras y luces: trabajadas en capas separadas, luego ajusté su opacidad hasta lograr el sombreado y brillo que me gusta.
Ojos: logrados con mi pincel personalizado Universo, un pincel que creé con muchos brillos, tal vez no sea muy perceptible pus los ojos son algo pequeños, pero brillan mucho y es un color que me agrada y considero está acorde con la paleta que estaba empleado, pensé en un momento usar color contrastante, pero ya no era armónico, por lo cual terminé escogiendo este pincel. Luego agrego más brillos y sombras.
Al terminar, me di cuenta que tenÃa problemas con el fondo nuevamente, mi diseño se perdÃa por lo que decidà emplear un azul más profundo en el cielo y degradarlo con aerografÃa, ahora si quedé satisfecha...

The waves: I tried to draw them somewhat realistic, for that I used one of the new brushes that I downloaded for free from the same program: Whatercolor (Rough), it's great. I just played with the shadows.
The hair: I work the same way as always, with the pen and airbrush, if you want to learn a little about this, I invite you to my channel, there I have several tutorials.
Shadows and lights: worked in separate layers, then I adjusted its opacity until I achieve the shading and brightness that I like.
Eyes: achieved with my custom brush Universe, a brush that I created with a lot of brightness, perhaps it is not very perceptible pus the eyes are somewhat small, but they shine a lot and it is a color that I like and I consider is in line with the palette that was used, I thought at one time to use contrasting color, but it was no longer harmonious, so I ended up choosing this brush. Then I add more glows and shadows.
When I finished, I realized that I was having problems with the background again, my design was getting lost so I decided to use a deeper blue in the sky and degrade it with airbrush, now I was satisfied...
