Greetings my friends, visitors and lovers of the cute.
This is what I wanted my character for, because when I participate in any contest or challenge of Draw Your Style, I do it with my character and everyone feels identified.
I joined the challenge of Lilly Freya Ross in her Instagram account because her drawing is beautiful, I am not sure of her reasons for launching the challenge, but I think it is to attract more followers, she succeeded because even I have followed her, I met her through her challenge and reviewing her work as an artist is amazing, I love her palette and her way of drawing, her style is particular and different.
My way of drawing today you will notice it is different, it is because I acquired my new computer, with it a more advanced software and everything is different, it has cost me a little to adapt. The update of Medibang for Windows 10 apparently is different, because the brushes do not have the same characteristics of my previous version, little by little I will be personalizing again, creating again my own brushes that obviously were lost.
With nothing more to add and happy with my progress by sharing it with you, I leave you attentive to my step by step.

Para esto quería mi personaje, pues al participar en cualquier concurso o reto de Dibuja a tu Estilo, lo haga con mi personaje y todos se sientan identificados.
Me uní al reto de Lilly Freya Ross en su cuenta Instagram pues su dibujo es precioso, no estoy segura de sus razones para lanzar el reto, pero me parece que es para atraer más seguidores, lo logró pues hasta yo la he seguido, la conocí a través de su reto y al revisar su trabajo como artista es asombroso, me encanta su paleta y su forma de dibujar, su estilo es particular y diferente.
Mi forma de dibujar hoy la notarás diferente, es porque adquirí mi nueva computadora, con ella un software más avanzado y todo es diferente, me ha costado un poco adaptarme. La actualización de Medibang para Windows 10 al parecer es diferente, pues los pinceles no tienen las mismas características de mi versión anterior, poco a poco iré personalizando de nuevo, creando de nuevo mis propios pinceles que obviamente se perdieron.
Sin más que agregar y contenta de mi progreso al compartirlo contigo, te dejo atento a mi paso a paso.

Paso a paso. / Step by Step
Con la imagen del reto como referencia procedo a realizar mi estilo, ya tengo mi personaje y soy fiel a él, así que solo respeté la temática del reto y algunos colores, de resto corresponde la paleta de colores de mi propio fauno.
Paso 1: boceto, en esta sección me llevé dos capas pues el diseño es un busto bastante sencillo. Notas que trabajé por separado los detalles de la cabeza y la bola de navidad que tiene como sarcillo, eso lo hice por cuestiones de comodidad para el vaciado de color y sombreado.
Paso 2: Line art, el cual protejo con el texto como sabes para evitar copias sin mi autorización. Mi diseño fue realizado totalmente a mano alzada y fue un dilema pues mi pulso tiembla mucho, pero con las nuevas características del programa no puedo hacer trazados con los pinceles, las líneas salen muy gruesas y pierde la gracia, me esforcé por que quedaran lo más derechas posibles.
Paso 3: Color base, Como expliqué anteriormente respeté por completo los colores de mi propio personaje, solo tomé algunos de la referencia. el proceso de coloreado fue realizado en una sola capa.
Paso 4: el diseño tiene un fondo sencillo, tanto como para yo querer cambiarlo o ponerle algo más a mi estilo, por ahora solo agregué el color base de fondo y la línea blanca. Trabajo en el sombreado del cabello y el detalle de las cintas en los cuernos. Con los cambios del pincel, creo que debo ajustar la forma pues el cabello no me salió como de costumbre y me costó mucho lograr líneas.
Paso 5: Corresponde al sombreado de piel en 3 capas diferentes ajustadas la opacidad y la misma forma la apliqué en los cuernos, además de rubor en su cara. Sombreado en el pajarito y el resto del cuerpo por separado.
Paso 6: realizo los ojos, me costaron un poco debido a los cambios en los pinceles, procedo a unir las capas del detalle en el cabello, copio y pego invirtiendo la imagen para lograr el otro lado y agrego un sombreado, es tiempo también de colocar la bola de navidad en su oreja.
Paso 7: en este último paso agrego las luces en forma de caramelo y culmino con una pulverización en el fondo. me encantaría imprimir este diseño en una taza de café.
Espero sea de tu agrado, aunque tuvo su dificultad el cambio de computadora, lo he disfrutado como siempre... al 100 x100.
With the image of the challenge as a reference I proceed to make my style, I already have my character and I am faithful to it, so I only respected the theme of the challenge and some colors, the rest corresponds to the color palette of my own faun.
Step 1: Sketch, in this section I took two layers because the design is a quite simple bust. Note that I worked separately the details of the head and the Christmas ball that has as a sarcillo, that I did for comfort for the emptying of color and shading.
Step 2: Line art, which I protect with the text as you know to avoid copies without my authorization. My design was made totally freehand and it was a dilemma because my pulse shakes a lot, but with the new features of the program I can not make strokes with the brushes, the lines are very thick and loses the grace, I tried to make them as straight as possible.
Step 3: Base color, As I explained before I completely respected the colors of my own character, I only took some of the reference. The coloring process was done in one layer.
Step 4: the design has a simple background, as much as I wanted to change it or put something else to my style, for now I just added the background base color and the white line. I work on the hair shading and the detailing of the horn ribbons. With the changes in the brush, I think I have to adjust the shape because the hair didn't come out as usual and I had a hard time achieving lines.
Step 5: It corresponds to the skin shading in 3 different layers, adjusting the opacity and the same shape I applied on the horns, plus blush on his face. Shading on the bird and the rest of the body separately.
Step 6: I make the eyes, they cost me a little bit due to the changes in the brushes, I proceed to join the layers of the detail in the hair, I copy and paste inverting the image to get the other side and I add a shading, it is also time to place the Christmas ball in her ear.
Step 7: in this last step I add the candy shaped lights and finish with a spray on the background. I would love to print this design on a coffee cup.
I hope you like it, even though it was difficult to change the computer, I enjoyed it as always... at 100 x 100.

Ok, primero diré que me encantó tu introducción porque yo sigo a varios artistas de Instagram y cuando los veía hacer este tipo de iniciativa de decir "dibujen a su estilo este dibujo mío" lo sentía era para curiosear, pero me diste a entender que es porque quieren en un futuro mejorar ese dibujo... no se si te entendí bien, pero me gustó porque así me da el TRIPLE de curiosidad estas participaciones jeje
Yo siempre seré fan de tus dibujos super cutes, porque son lo máximo y siempre que los consigo y puedo los voto en todos lados!! Me encantó :blue_heart:

Estos retos son básicamente para atraer seguidores en Instagram o celebrarlos, cualquier artista se siente emocionado y honrado de la participación de muchos cuando lanza los retos y de esta forma entre todos nos apoyamos, es emocionante ver la interpretación de cada quien sobre nuestra obra y la plasme a su propio estilo manteniendo la esencia del diseño principal, no es una copia, es solo la interpretación y lo que te hace sentir su trabajo.
