Día 8 - Por Mis Oídos || 30 Days of Gratefulness: Day 8 - For My Ears

Partiendo de que el oído es el órgano encargado de recibir y transmitir las ondas sonoras o sonidos externos hacia el cerebro para luego ser procesadas por este último. Escuchar la música y deleitarme con ella en cualquier ambiente es una de las mejores cosas que mi cuerpo y la vida me permiten disfrutar.

Based on the fact that the ear is the organ in charge of receiving and transmitting sound waves or external sounds to the brain and then being processed by the latter. Listening to music and enjoying it in any environment is one of the best things that my body and life allow me to enjoy.

Agradezco por poder gozar de esos receptores y transmisores. Poder escuchar las historias de distintas personas como mi papá, mi mamá, mi abuela, mis hermanos, mis tias y demas personas con las que converso. Ir por la calle y deleitarme en ocasiones con grupos o una que otra persona que comparten su talento en vivo en las calles. Agradezco poder escuchar la naturaleza y conectarme con ella. Escuchar las aves cantar en los amaneceres.

I am grateful for being able to enjoy those receivers and transmitters,To be able to listen to the stories of different people like my dad, my mom, my grandma, my brothers, my aunts and other people I talk to. Walk on the street and occasionally delight myself with groups or the occasional person who share their talent live on the streets. I appreciate being able to listen to nature and connect with it. Hear the birds sing in the sunrises.

Oído Musical

Desde hace unos años me he venido dedicando a la música como instrumentista. Al principio no entendía como mi profesor podía escuchar sonidos y de manera rápida tocar esas mismas notas en el instrumento. Le pregunté y su respuesta fue “Eso es práctica y paciencia. Pronto tú también lo harás” y normalmente solía ser una persona impaciente. Decía “Pero cuando será mi turno”, lo cual me frustraba.

Tiempo después dejé de pensar en ello y seguí con mis prácticas cotidianas y estudiar más. Y no fue sino hasta el año pasado cuando sin darme cuenta empecé a procesar mejor los sonidos y comencé a interpretarlos en mi instrumento. Poco a poco he ido desarrollándolo, pudiendo escuchar canciones e interpretar algunas de ellas en el instrumento con las mismas notas. Aunque todavía me falta mucho camino por recorrer, en ocasiones he impartido clases y a las pocas personas a las cuales he tenido la dicha de enseñar, me han repetido lo mismo que solía yo pensar y decirle a mi profesor, a lo cual les respondo “Eso es práctica y paciencia. Pronto tú también lo harás”

Musical Ear

For some years I have been dedicating myself to music as an instrumentalist. At first I didn't understand how my teacher could hear sounds and quickly play those same notes on the instrument. I asked him and his answer was “That's practice and patience. Soon you will too” and normally he used to be an impatient person. He said "But when will it be my turn", which frustrated me.

Some time later I stopped thinking about it and continued with my daily practices and studying more. And it wasn't until last year that I inadvertently began to process sounds better and began to interpret them on my instrument. Little by little I've been developing it, being able to listen to songs and interpret some of them on the instrument with the same notes. Although I still have a long way to go, on occasions I have taught classes and the few people to whom I have had the good fortune to teach, have repeated the same thing that I used to think and say to my teacher, to which I reply “That's practice and patience. Soon you will too"
