Hello Blurt friends wherever you are, meet again with me @aroyl, one of the atomians member in Indonesia.
On this occasion I will continue to discuss some of the myths about immunization.
In my previous article, I have conveyed three immunization myths circulating in the community. It turns out that there are still more false myths about immunization.
The fourth myth, vaccines contain harmful substances that can damage the brain, is not true. The dose of chemical substances contained in the vaccine has been calculated carefully so as not to exceed the safe limit set by WHO.
The fifth myth is that vaccines made from pus are bred in accidentally aborted dog, pig and human fetuses. This opinion comes from writings fifty years ago, namely around the fifties, vaccine manufacturing technology has developed rapidly so that it is very much different from vaccine manufacture in that era. Currently, vaccines are made with advanced technology, namely molecular biology techniques
The sixth myth, vaccines contain lard, fifteen to twenty years ago the process of harvesting vaccine seeds intersects with pig pancreas trypsin. However, with advances in technology, the parent vaccine seeds are washed and thoroughly cleaned by means of ultra-filtration up to hundreds of times so that the vaccine given to children does not contain pig trypsin.
The Indonesian Ulema Council or MUI has stated that a vaccine can be used as long as there is no substitute. For example, the Hajj meningitis vaccine is required by Saudi Arabia for all pilgrims to prevent inflammation of the brain due to meningococcal infection.
"Remember prevention is much better than cure"
So much information from me about some of the myths about immunization, hopefully it will be useful and look forward to the next tips in my post.
Thank you for dropping by at my writing. Until we meet again in my next writing.
