Hello Blurt friends wherever you are, meet again with me @aroyl, one of the atomians member in Indonesia.
On this occasion I will discuss about one type of immune system, namely the non-specific immune system.
When a microbe enters the body, it passes through the three layers of the immune system's defenses. The first line of defense is called the non-specific immune system.
The non-specific immune system is the immune system that fights disease in the same way against all types of disease. In this immune system there are four types of defense.
The first is physical or mechanical defense, physical defense can be in the form of skin, mucous or mucus layers, cilia or hair in the respiratory tract as well as coughing and sneezing mechanisms. Physical defense generally protects the body from diseases that come from the external environment.
The second is biochemical defense, biochemical defense against microbes that escape physical defense. This defense can be in the form of an acidic pH secreted by sweat, gastric acid produced by the stomach, milk and saliva or saliva.
The third is humoral defense, this defense involves molecules that are soluble to fight microbes such as complement and antibodies.
And the fourth is cellular defense, this defense involves immune system cells against microbes, these cells are found in the blood circulation such as neutrophils, basophils and eosinophils. But some are also found in tissues such as macrophage cells.
"Remember prevention is much better than cure"
So much information from me about one type of immune system, namely the non-specific immune system, hopefully it will be useful and look forward to the next tips in my post.
Thank you for dropping by at my writing. Until we meet again in my next writing.
