On this occasion I will continue the discussion about the next type of immune system, namely the specific immune system.

The specific immune system is an immune system that requires exposure or must first recognize the type of microbe to be treated and has a memory of exposure to microbes that have previously entered the body.

This immune system works specifically because the response is different for each type of microbe, therefore it is different from the non-specific immune system which responds quickly. The specific immune system response takes a long time because it requires exposure.

However, if the immune system has been exposed to a disease-causing microbe, the protection provided can last a long time. This is because the immune system has a memory of the exposure it gets.

The specific immune system is divided into two, namely the humoral-specific immune system and the cellular-specific immune system.

In the specific humoral immune system, b cells or b lymphocytes originating from the spinal cord will produce plasma cells and plasma cells will produce antibodies. These antibodies will protect our bodies from extra-cellular infections, viruses, and bacteria and neutralize toxins.

Meanwhile, in the cellular-specific immune system, T cells or T lymphocytes which also come from the spinal cord will fight intra-cellular bacteria, viruses, herbs, parasites and tumors.

So much information from me on the next type of immune system, namely the specific immune system, hopefully it will be useful and look forward to the next tips in my post.

Thank you for dropping by at my writing. Until we meet again in my next writing.
