Upgraded Primary Witness Server.

in blurtech •  4 years ago

Hello Blurtians.

Just a quick update.

I upgraded my Primary Witness Server to the following hardware specification to increase memory capacity and not to miss producing blocks. The backup witness server is also activated to automatically switch if 2 consecutive block misses.

  • 4G RAM
  • 75G SSD
  • 4 cores
  • 100mbps

As of this date, we are only using 222 MB memory to run a witness server. The current hardware specification for primary and backup witness server nodes are sufficient to support the growth of blurt. We can easily upgrade to the next hardware if needed.

We encourage other members of the community to create their own Witness nodes, here’s the website to follow the step-by-step procedures.
