I had not analyzed the top 100 Richlist addresses on BTC for more than 12 days and I did not expect to see so many good omens.
In fact, since BTC reached its ATH just a few days ago, what I expected is the complete opposite of what we are observing...
There is an enormous buying pressure coming from the whales.
Let's see the summary extracted from https://bitinfocharts.com/ :
Weekly Status of Top 100 BTC addresses
Number of Addresses buying has increased notably in comparison with those selling, higher than the ones selling, despite the "Dormants" are still the major population of addresses of the list:
- Of the 100 richest addresses only 22 have been active during the last 7 days, 18 of which we can qualify as "BUYING" and 4 as "SELLING" addresses
- The number of active addresses have increased from 17 to 22.
- The Chart above denotes that the amount of BITCOIN bought by the top100 is 10 times higher than the sold, this is an outstanding change if we compare it historically
No signal of reversal here obviously. Whales are buying at any price with I would tend to think that the BULLISH Continuation is more than guaranteed
Monthly Status of Top 100 BTC addresses
- Increase in the number of active addresses from 27 to 31, 22 "BUYING" addresses and only 9 "SELLING" addresses.
- In total these "WHALES" have bought 144387 BTC (about 8,951,994,000 $ at the current prices) and 24407 BTC have been sold, ie, the amount of BTC being Bought is 6 times higher than the sold by these Top Addresses. Worth to say that 12 days ago this proportion was 1.32 in favor of the Buyers.
Given both, the weekly and monthly data of the Top 100 Addresses, I could say that the BULLISH scenario seems to be the most likely to happen... No signal of exhaustion on BUYERS till today at least, whales keep buying at any price, actually the 3rd Richest address did sell 7500 BTC just before the start of the rally towards the ATH. That operation did not prevent the raise and now, this address keeps buying small amounts on a daily basis in a tentative try of reducing his "relative lost"... sometimes the rich also cry :-).
