I am sure you are going to enjoy the speed.
Though I am not a big fan of win10 and so reverted back to win 7
One of the reasons was windows 10 was slowing down things for me.
Since you have win 10 with 8 GB RAM so it should not be an issue.
However in case you feel too many updates bothering you then you can turn off the auto updates for windows.
Just one more thing : in case you got the windows preinstalled you can try to have a recovery disc made if you did not get one and a driver disc safely stored in case you got one with your system.
