Greeting to all Blurtorians! Have a nice day! Have you ever been to an exhibition of new technologies? There you can see a lot of interesting things, for example, here are such machine processing methods...
I was particularly impressed with this installation with filigree wood cutting.
You can even make a whole picture.
Well, a video of it in the works:
The more I looked, the more I realized that soon there would be only robots and a few operators working on computers in the factories.
And with them, the rate of production increases significantly.
Looking at these products, you will hardly think that they are not made by hand.
And I couldn't get away from this machine for a long time :-) I watched the laser cutting process with fascination.
I have a Sony DX-60 camera, and all photos are taken in auto mode.
I appreciate Your feedback and comments.
I wish you luck and have a nice day!
Best wishes!
This post made me a little sad. My grandfather was a master wood-smith (among many other talents he had) and I don't want a machine to replace artists like he was. I still believe there is an energy behind a hand made piece that no machine will ever be able to replicate.
I have a hanging coat rack my grandfather made for me decades ago, and while there are many that may look better in stores, none will equal the value the piece has for me.
Thanks for sharing. I don't think many grasp how much automation is taking place now. My brother sometimes works building construction sites running cable lines, and he said on many jobs the walls are being delivered whole with the wires (electrical, internet etc) already inside the walls.
That was also my feeling...
I agree with you. However, progress does not stand still...
