The real difference between hardware and software is that the
hardware becomes faster, smaller, and cheaper over time, while
that software gets bigger, slower and more expensive.

It is a problem that I am currently getting, many of the programs and games that I like are demanding so much disk space that the thing goes from being a joke to being a real and irritating problem.

Years ago, I thought that this trend would be fought by new developments, which would allow the creation of new applications that were light in code and made better use of the resources of the new hardware. But reality was in charge of shattering my dream, a good example of this is the remastering of games from a decade ago, which now turns out that such remasters require much more resources, but have instability problems and crashes that are much more frequent than the ones. original versions, that's ridiculous.
