Testing Testing 1,2,3

Blurt.blog is testing some Ads to help monetize the Platform....

What do you think ? Https://Blurt.blog

This is an Amazon Associate account set up by @megadrive so all funds go to the Foundation to support the price of Blurt .... Buying all the dips .... hopefully people will click on the banners when they need to buy some stuff from Amazon. That way Blurt is backed by dollars in addition to all the other good stuff coming.

I still buy most of my CD’s Vinyl records and MP3’s on Amazon ... Listening to some Dean Martin Christmas right now : https://amzn.to/2Kywq5H

The Original 1966 Dean Martin Christmas Album, the best! 5.0 out of 5 stars

For anyone interested, this is the original 1966 Dean Martin Christmas album, this is the first time this album has been released on CD in its original form, with original artwork. It has always been my families favorite Christmas album of all time since I was a kid, and although all of the tracks have been released on other compilations over the years, it’s nice to finally have it on CD the way I remember it. For those unfamiliar with this album, if you enjoy Dean Martin’s voice, and Christmas music, you can’t go wrong. His renditions are warm and traditional, and his version of Marshmallow World alone makes it worth purchasing

It would be a great idea. Blurt will be more stronger. We have no problem with ads.

That’s great ....we will be experimenting with 3 or 4 different programs..... they offer Great analytics too. I sold $700 worth of stuff last month from my Blurt Blog.

Thanks for the Positive Feedback.

I think it's something that will be quite beneficial for the growth and expansion of blurt

I think so too.

This is an Amazon Associate account set up by @megadrive so all funds go to the Foundation to support the price of Blurt ie : Buying all the dips .... hopefully people will click on the banners when they need to buy some stuff from Amazon.. This is a good step. I hope it will work out well. A lot of people shop on Amazon and the ads are not too flashy like Adsense or others.

Thanks for the announcement @offgridlife and for your idea of using Amazon Associate banners while we wait for Google to approve our site for Adsense, I am looking forward to see the clickthrough rate of these Amazon ads.

Yes .... they have some excellent analytics at Amazon.

Might want to check out bitcoin ad networks like a-ads and mellow ads too . Not going to say adsense is bad but they are known to ban accounts alot....

That is definitely great idea. However, isn't an irony?? A decentralized media depends upon partly on a centralized media. Just my thoughts, no hard feeling :)

Ha ha ha ... Yeah... and all the centralized Google, Android, Apple, internet, wifi, products we are all using to view this, or using Fiat money to buy our food, or pay the mortgage, or even having a mortgage, or anything to do with banks or commerce or the government .... it’s kind of like living off the grid and still using the Internet. Irony of ironies. Everything is irony.

Yes. We all are hoping for a decentralized life. But that won't come in our generation, I guess. My be next generation will enjoy those. Until that, let us take benefits of the centralized platforms as well.

Yes.... until we are all building our own computers, wifi towers and satellites .... we will all need to rely on Centralized systems.

Is there going to be ads on the other blurt siteslike blurt world?

Yes. Everywhere. We are testing several plans.
