Almost all of us use computers regularly. But the speed of using this computer can be made faster and time can be saved with some small tips. When working on a computer, doing many things at once, moving from one job to another quickly, saving files, cutting windows, etc., can be done much faster if you want.

Here are ten tips.

  1. Use keyboard shortcuts to reopen a tab that you closed a while ago while browsing the website:

For Windows: Ctrl + Shift + T

For Mac: Cmd + Shift + T

It is worth mentioning here that Windows' Ctrl key and Mac's Cmd (command) key are often used for the same purpose. So if you are a Mac user, you can try the Windows shortcuts for Mac by pressing the Mac's Cmd button instead of Ctrl.

  1. If you want to know the current time of a city, type in Google: "Time" + "City Name".

For example: If you want to know the current time of Dhaka city, type “Time Dhaka” in the search bar.

  1. To find out the current value of different currencies, type in the Google search bar: "Currency quantity and name" in "Other currency name".

For example: if you want to know the current value of dollar in taka, type "100 dollars in taka"

  1. If you want, you can use Google search as a calculator. For this, you have to enter the numbers you want to add, subtract, multiply and divide by typing them in Google search bar and pressing Enter button. The calculator will come up and Google will show the results of your calculations.

  2. If you want to see or read any Facebook post later, you can save it. To do this, save the post by clicking on "Save Link" from the post option. Next, go to the menu and go to "Saved Post" and you will see the saved posts.

. Shortcut to cancel any previous text or work in the file:

For Windows: Ctrl + Z

For Mac: Cmd + Z

  1. You can use Google Doc instead of Microsoft Office Word for your daily writing. Files are not likely to be lost as your work is automatically saved in Google Docs. It can be used for free and many people can work together on the same file at the same time. You can also access your file at any time from any device with an internet connection.

However, if you use a browser other than Google Chrome on your computer, you will not be able to work in Google Dock without an internet connection.
