Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Interactive Podcast?

Clubhouse is an app for iphone users who can participate in audio rooms with speakers. The catch is that Clubhouse can only be activated by invitation making it an exclusive social network seeing that each user is only allowed to give two invitations.

The app is made from a company called Alpha Exploration Co. and the CEO Paul Davison (Not Pete Davidson's brother) hopes for the app to be open to the public. Right now he is starting slow but has already gotten big name speakers to join club house and open chat rooms.

Already Elon Musk, Ophrah Winfrey, Mark Zuckerberg have opened rooms. Each host speaks about their own specialty while followers listen in audio. It's very simple but starting out slow has given this app an advantage of FOMO. It also gives the designers time to deal with problems like abuse or tech problems before it explodes with users.

This app has no video but allows large numbers of people to talk together and listen and participate in this swinging podcast party. I have a feeling other apps or big media tech companies will try to follow Clubhouse' example in audio chatrooms. Most applications are flooded with visuals and videos that take up space not only on the internet but in our minds. This may be a real voice for free speech or it might be a flop and another censored media application.

Only time will tell.
Would you use this if you had an invitation?
Do you think it's worth it to buy their stocks?
Do they work?
