Technology no doubt is becoming a game changer in the world today in the 19th-century industrialization was a major player in financial sectors a country could be rated by what they can provide industrially, today a shift in the use of information and technology is what can be used to rate country's development, more research are been put in place every day to make living more convenient with the use of technology (internet).

The discovery of the internet has paved way for the development of advanced technological devices Internet Of Things (IoT) is one of the major development that allows users to communicate with physical devices over a connected network. it has helped improve business decision-making by enhancing productivity in product design, it has improved security with the use of smart cameras and temperature regulation in car engines.

Internet of Things IoT

Internet of Things connects devices with the use of Unique identifiers that do not necessarily need to be connected over the Internet but are interrelated through computing devices.

In general, IoT requires the transfer of data/information over a device without the need for human-to-human/computer-to-human communication in contrast, a sensor in a car can easily detect overheating of an engine without running a troubleshoot from a car technician, once the temperature of a car engine is high the sensor will automatically trigger and sends information to the dashboard of a car notifying the driver current state of his car.

The above components work simultaneously to give final results on IoT-integrated devices.

  1. Sensors are built to collect data from surrounding. like the car-built sensor that detects a high temperature.

  2. Cloud/Connectivity gateway connectivity through which data can be sent using various connections meaning WiFi, Bluetooth, and cellular

  3. Processors Information sent from data are been analyzed with the help of some special software.

  4. User interface end users receive alerts, texts, or emails that can be displayed on the screen or dashboard in the case of a car, the information received is used by end users to troubleshoot malfunction in a system.

Sensors/device respond to changes around the environment it works as an indicator, once these changes are detected the device connects with the cloud through a connectivity channel either using a network, Information gets to the could which is been analyzed by the processor or some integrated software which help filter these data and gives feedback to users through a signal which can be on a virtual display or alert signal in form of message.
