Bitcoin and its quest to become a future leading adopted digital currency is tied to adoption rate of users placing value on the digital gold thanks to Satoshi whose idea brought about the concept of the bitcoin's whitepaper am pretty sure he'd be amazed to see how fast his idea has spread across the world, however, his mysterious disappearance made the whole idea of decentralization a reality, saving himself from repeated security exchange commission (SEC) interrogation what a smart move, if he was here am pretty sure he might be confiscated for introducing a monetary system that can't be controlled by centralized official just a mare theory though.
A need for adoption
Since bitcoin and its distributed nodes can not be easily banned, the best way is to implement rules/regulations that will regulate the crypto space which will alternatively slow down the adoption rate of bitcoin adoption (cryptocurrencies).
Bitcoin has been a unique asset that earned billions of dollars in market capitalization with little market campaign involved showing great potential value it holds while being a parallel utility that works opposite of a centralized marketing strategy, there is still need for increased adoption If the bitcoin community wants to stand upcoming unforeseen pressure from regulatory agencies.
However, what can't be controlled by centralized officials would rather be tagged as insecurity to stray users from embracing such ideas.
Those who control the bill control the economy it will continue on this track except the concept is changed through adoption although adoption can not be achieved when little is known about bitcoin and true decentralization, there's no point in having bitcoin if people would not have a sense reason of controlling their assets which blockchain technology is gradually fixing.
Overall adoption depends on the value users place on bitcoin this also means as more users join the space its security will be increasing exponentially.
