Let's start with a question. Is technology for us or are we for technology? If your answer is yes, you are using technology in your daily work, then congratulations. But if the situation is such that you can't think of a single moment of the day without the use of technology, then a thunder signal is waiting for you.

What do we know about the technology at our fingertips? Mobile phones, cameras, computers, televisions are all these. Now look at a new and different information. There are 600 crore mobile phone users out of 600 crore people in the world. In contrast, 4.5 billion people have access to hygienic toilets. Notice the number two. This difference explains how technology has pervaded us. Where we do not have the full assurance of a healthy life, we are becoming completely dependent on technology.
We usually spend an average of 5-6 hours a day staring at our mobile or computer. In some cases the number is even higher. The question is, many of us want to keep ourselves away from technology. I keep my mobile and computer off, I also turn it off to get rid of social media addiction. But why are we still so attracted to technology? The answer is very simple. Once you are attracted to something, no matter how far you want to go, it will draw you closer. Many people become restless when they do not have a mobile phone at hand. There is also a name for this instability. Nomophobia. To put it bluntly, no mobile phobia.
You can't move away from technology if you want to. You have to live with technology all the time. Whether you want to talk in an emergency or bring food because you are hungry, you need to use technology. However, this does not mean that you have to rely on technology to do these things.
Our brains naturally want to be rewarded. Wants to be satisfied with the prize. Suppose you are playing a video game on mobile. Get rewards for passing each level. It secretes dopamine into your brain. This dopamine is gradually released and your attraction to the game continues to increase. Where time flies from the middle, there is no news. The same thing happens with social media or any type of drug.
In fact, we are naturally attracted to any new technology. You can understand it only by thinking about modern smart phones. How can we protect ourselves from this aggression of technology? First of all, you have to take the initiative yourself. If you do not want to change yourself, no one can help you. The initiatives you can take-

No one actually reads if they have a mobile phone at hand while studying, unless they use it for reading. In between reading, I felt like turning to Facebook. It's only 2 minutes. Nothing will happen! But we seem to forget that it takes us 30 minutes to finish these 2 minutes! So in order not to waste time, the mobile phone should be kept as far away from the hand as possible. An effective way is to throw the mobile somewhere far away after sitting at the reading table. Whatever it is, every time you think of your mobile phone while reading, you don't want to leave the chair. Or, you can say with the mobile in someone's hand at home, no matter how much you need in the next hour, the mobile should not be given to you. This way you can keep yourself away from mobile or other technology for some time of the day.
Get in the habit of reading books
It is said that man's closest friend is the book. With the help of this friend, you can keep yourself away from technology addiction if you want. Make it a habit to read books on the subject of your choice. This will make your time much better. But you must read paper books. If you look at a mobile screen and read a book, you will find yourself lost in the midst of that technology. So practice reading books in such a way that you do not become dependent on technology.
