External Hard Drive. Portable 1tb.
As head of the university's payroll, I handle too much information that is very essential for the entire university, in this sense I have to constantly maintain an endorsement of the entire payroll of all the movements generated by the monthly newsletters.
These are files that I can consult at any time and especially when I do not have a direct web connection with the university servers, which is a very frequent problem in Venezuela but I always manage to establish the connection in some way.
But when I cannot do it, then my 1Tb hard drive enters there to have access to the necessary information, since 2015 when I assumed the head of the payroll department I must always have some daily and monthly backup in this way I can access at the moment that I want to the hard disk and look for any specific information of the entire payroll.
I have divided that disk into multiple partitions.
A partition is dedicated to the backups of my monthly payroll since 2015 in addition to backups all the collective contracts and salary increases generated by the national government.
Another partition I carry the vacation bonus per year.
Another partition to carry the Christmas bonus per year.
A partition of only 100 GB is left for my personal backups. Despite that, it still has 780 GB available, in this sense, I can say that it still has a lot of space to continue storing much more information about the university's payroll-
A big tip to all my readers should always have backup discs of all your important information.
However, in some way, this platform also serves as a backup to save important information that is usually unpublished and personal memories.
