My #blurtech Challenge Entry ⚙️

in blurtech •  4 years ago  (edited)

Today a challenge was issued by @blurtech, find one technological artifact that you have in your home, something that maybe not many others have or something that you wouldn't want to live without.

My entry into the #blurtech challenge may fall into both of those categories!

Well really a 510 Thread Vape Pen isn't super rare, they've been around for a few years now, but with cannabis being illegal in many corners of the world, it's definitely not a common household item.

How Does a 510 Battery and Cartridge Work?

The battery, in my case a 350 mAh, powers the devise's built in LED indicator and atomizer.

From there the battery fires the Atomizer which quickly creates the heat needed to vaporize the extract contained within the tank.

The tank/chamber in my case holds .5 grams of Cannabis extract mixed with an oil which is turned into vapor automatically when you pull through the mouth piece. The battery was smaller on my old pen, I'm not sure by how much but this little guy rarely ever needs a charge. I don't use it that often but boy does it hold a charge.

The pen uses a USB adapter to plug into something like a laptop to charge, it takes maybe 20 minutes for a full charge.

My particular model is the 510 Thread Battery by Spinach Cannabis. A pretty awesome technological innovation if you ask me. Batteries keep getting smaller and smaller and now we've these low key and reliable vape pens. They're affordable at around $10, cannabis cartridge sold separately.

This is my entry into the #blurtech challenge!

I'm looking forward to seeing others show off a piece of tech that they would maybe prefer not to live without.
