Educar en casa implica conocer y poner en practica ciertas técnicas y estrategias por parte de los padres y representantes. Igualmente el uso prudente y apropiado de los recursos educativos o didácticos. Uno de los que podemos utilizar cómodamente en casa es el Rotafolio. En este post intento dar un aporte mediante el tutorial haciendo uno en escala pequeña. Sí lo deseas puedes construir el tuyo del tamaño que más se adapta a tus necesidades. Te será muy útil.

Educating at home implies knowing and putting into practice certain techniques and strategies on the part of parents and guardians. Likewise, the prudent and appropriate use of educational or didactic resources. One of those that we can use comfortably at home is the Flipchart. ✍️ Los materiales que vas a necesitar son fáciles de encontrar. La mayoría los tenemos en casa:

• Cartón reciclado.
• Pegamento.
• Tijeras.
• Lápiz de grafito.
• Reglas.
• Hojas blancas.
• Pintura al frío.
• Pincel.
• Marcador.

✍️ The materials you will need are easy to find. Most of us have them at home:

Los recursos didácticos son herramientas indispensables para la comprensión del tema que se va a desarrollar, estos estimulan y facilitan el aprendizaje. Los rotafolios son como una especie de caballetes de madera en los que colocamos de manera ordenada pliegos de papel bond previamente escritos con los puntos más relevantes del tema que vamos a desarrollar y explicar.
Amerita que con tiempo de anticipación el exponente escriba sobre los pliegos de papel en letra grande y llamativa un esquema, bosquejo o resumen agregando también una presentación de su trabajo.

Teaching resources are essential tools for understanding the topic to be developed, they stimulate and facilitate learning. Flip charts are like a kind of wooden easels in which we place in an orderly way sheets of bond paper previously written with the most relevant points of the topic that we are going to develop and explain.
It is worthwhile for the exponent to write an outline, sketch or summary on the sheets of paper in large and striking type in advance, also adding a presentation of their work.

El procedimiento para su elaboración es bastante sencillo, decidiremos el tamaño, mediremos y recortaremos.

The procedure for its elaboration is quite simple, we will decide the size, we will measure and we will cut it.

• Toma un trozo de cartón grueso y liso. Mide y recorta un rectángulo de 20 cm por 14 cm.
• Mide y recorta tres listones del ancho de 1,5 cm y del largo de 25 cm. 👆

• Take a piece of thick, smooth cardboard. Measure and cut out a rectangle 20 cm by 14 cm.
• Measure and cut out three strips 1.5 cm wide and 25 cm long. 👆

• Realiza con el cartón dos tornillos largos y medianamente gruesos.
• De estos necesitarás dos no muy largos.
• Sí lo deseas puedes ponerle color a estas piezas.👆

• Make two long and medium thick screws with the cardboard.
• Of these you will need two not very long.

• Vamos a realizar las patas en la parte de atrás del rectángulo, para ello recortaras dos listones con las mismas medidas (11cm)
• Pegamos en la parte de atrás del rectángulo en forma de V invertida. Esto serán las patas que servirán para dar altura al rotafolio.
• Mide un listón más ancho y un poco largo que usaremos para sostener de pie el Rotafolio. Pegalo detrás del cuerpo del recurso. 👆

• We are going to make the legs on the back of the rectangle, for this you will cut two slats with the same measurements (11cm)
• We glue on the back of the rectangle in the shape of an inverted V. These will be the legs that will serve to give the flip chart height.
• Measure a wider and slightly long ribbon that we will use to hold the Flip Chart upright. Paste it behind the body of the resource.👆

• En los dos listones previamente recortados vamos a medir y dejar los espacios a los lados de 2 cm de margen.
• Marcamos con el tornillo el tamaño del círculo que vamos a perforar.
• Haremos los orificios en el cuerpo del rotafolio y en uno de los listones.
• Deben comprobar que por los orificios pase holgadamente el tornillo. Introduciéndolos desde atrás.👆

• In the two strips previously cut we are going to measure and leave the spaces on the sides with a 2 cm margin.
• We mark with the screw the size of the circle that we are going to drill.
• They should check that the screw passes loosely through the holes. Introducing them from behind.👆

• Haremos una muestra de su uso. Recorta a la medida del rectángulo de cartón varias hojas de papel. Mide y realiza un hoyo en ambos extremos por el que pasarán los tornillos y encajarán sobre el rectángulo del cartón (cuerpo del rotafolio)
• Las láminas se colocan de manera organizada: la última que leeremos se coloca primero y así sucesivamente vamos ordenando hasta colocar de última la que leeremos primero.
• Estás laminas se irán levantando y pasando hacia atrás. 👆

• We will make a sample of its use. Cut out several sheets of paper from the cardboard rectangle. Measure and make a hole at both ends through which the screws will pass and fit over the cardboard rectangle (body of the flip chart)
• The sheets are placed in an organized way: the last one that we will read is placed first and so on we order until the one that we will read first is placed last.
• These sheets will be lifted and passed backwards.👆

Realmente sencillo de elaborar y muy útil en nuestros hogar.

En mi desempeño laboral utilizo con mucha frecuencia este recurso. Facilita en gran medida la transmisión del conocimiento. Mantiene la atención del grupo y lo mejor es que puedes conservarlo para futuras presentaciones. Lo recomiendo ampliamente para las madres y representantes, quienes actualmente cumplen con la responsabilidad de educar e instruir a sus hijos en el hogar en ocasión de la terrible situación por la que estamos atravesando a nivel mundial. Incluso, colocar como tareas la exposiciones de los ninos exigiéndoles el uso de este recurso estarías incrementando aun mas sus posibilidades para un acelerado conocimiento de los temas a tratar.
