Cleanup wizard for Linux servers.

Hello, all hosting companies agree that one of the biggest problems is that the hosting provided is used as a file storage, personal archive. Unfortunately, many customers and prospective customers do not know/cannot detect that only website files should be stored in their hosting accounts, and we companies are constantly working on cleaning unnecessary files so that the hard drives do not swell. That's exactly why I wrote a bash script for it, pulling the script to your server and running it. It scans the entire server and deletes all unnecessary files.

  • The script can only run stably on the cPanel/CentOS Web Server platform.

  • How to Build & Work;
    You only need to enter the following commands on the CentOS SSH screen.

    cd /root
    wget https://raw.github.com/sedatabase/linuxbashcleaner/master/temizlikci.sh
    sh temizlikci.sh

    What's Deleting;
    .tar.gz formatted backups taken from the cPanel interface, .gz formatted logs kept by the server and .tar.gz, .gz, .zip, .rar, .mp3, .mp4, .flv, .avi, .wmv, .dat,. exe, .bat, .psd, .cdr.

    My apologies but i disagree with you, as long as if i don't host anything illegal then i can store whatever i want to, including my personal files... to the server i rent,

    and we companies are constantly working on cleaning unnecessary files so that the hard drives do not swell.
    Wtf, what do you even mean, do you have access to your customers files? Can you even see them let alone deleting them??

    Hello, I think there are a few issues that you have misunderstood. Of course, we cannot access our customers' server, because the server delivered with an operating system can only be accessed by cracking the password. The operating system and all its hardware are independent, that is, it is "a server". The program mentioned in this blog post is required for "shared hosting services". Why? if you ask, shared hosting services can only be used for website hosting, because technologies such as cpanel, cloudlinux, litespeed are for this. As such, hosting companies should take such importance to prevent personal use. Because shared hosting servers belong to many customers, not one customer, everyone should use them fairly. If it is a "server" that you have rented, of course you are free to use it any way you want.
