There's a bug with this. I get a notification saying "freakeao upvoted your post" but there is no vote from @freakeao on the post.

yes, people were voting and again removing. But now they are getting caught doing this

He probably has his reasons for removing his vote.

Hahaha it can be

It can also be a weaponised vote. lmao. Think about it - curators still get their rewards but the author gets nothing ;-)
Doesn't look like this is the case here, but ... who knows!

Also, some users might be conned into thinking this has anything to do with BYT - it doesn't. Looks like a scam begging for votes. Why would a sane person buy and burn BYT? I don't care, but I also don't believe him/it.

That was my guess for why the vote was removed.

Quiet possible but yeah transaction fee still charged

Why would a sane person buy and burn BYT? I don't care, but I also don't believe him/it.

Because I own BYT and I see this as a way to increase the value of my holding. Nobody is being forced to vote, but have the option to do so, and if they hold BYT they can then possibly increase the value of their own holding too.

Prove it when you actually do it.
You increase the value of your holdings by burning them? learn some maths.

Its not getting caught, its changing their mind.

Yeah that's fine anyways, if one want to take his vote back

Thank you for letting me know. It might be better to add the % they voted at to avoid this confusion.

Can you link to the post so we can investigate what might have happened there?
