A Heartfelt Thanks to the Pioneers
Before we delve into the details of this announcement, we want to express our deepest gratitude to the individuals whose dedication and ingenuity have paved the way for this transformative development.
TechCoderX (@techcoderx): The trailblazer who initiated this journey by forking the Hivemind module from Steem, aptly renamed Nexus, and tailored it to seamlessly integrate with Blurt. His visionary initiative laid the foundation for what we now proudly present as Blurt Communities.

Saboin (@saboin): A dedicated contributor to the Nexus backend and instrumental in establishing a Nexus-enabled test node. Furthermore, Saboin has been integral in incorporating Nexus into the official Blurt RPC node cluster (
rpc.blurt.world
), ensuring a robust and seamless experience for users.Symbionts (@symbionts): The unsung hero who took on the colossal responsibility of enriching the user interfaces with community features. Their remarkable work on the frontends, particularly
blurt.blog

These are good news indeed! 🍀😍🌞 Looking forward to testing the new feature! 👌🏽
Thanks guys (and other people)! I know a lot of people who use platforms like Blurt like the sound of communities, and it can help them get involved because they feel there's something specific for them to be a part of. Myself, I generally just use tags, but I'll check out the communities section now that it's complete.
Good job to everyone who made this happen! 👏 thank you for sharing
Está brutal me encanto sii que éxitos
Cool. Another big step :)
Big Fan of you
We have own pakistani community now

It's excellent news. I don't know if it will have an influence on the curators' votes (I know that on other platforms like Hive and Steemit, for example, this happens) but I think it is an excellent measure to organize content thematically, when we have to look for something that interests us.
I see that some user like @team-mexico has retweeted this news. Could you tell me what tag needs to be included in the tweet so that it appears in the comments? Thank you.
Welcome Communities!

Es correcto, es de manera orgánica, solo copiamos y pegamos el link de Twitter. No usamos nada automático, no tenemos ningún comando ni etiqueta.
That's right, it's organic, we just copy and paste the Twitter link.
We don't use anything automatic, we don't have any commands or labels.

Team mexico simply pasted the url of the Tweet in his comment, Blurt.blog recognises it and automatically embeds and unfurls.
I just realized that in blurt something spectacular has happened where everyone has the opportunity to establish their community, that's something extraordinary in 2024. and yeah as usual we will continue our burning ideas day by day.
However, I have a problem, namely that my image display is smaller now, do you have any special recommendations for me so that all my images return to normal?
Hi, @steemadi,
Could you please elaborate further on the image issue that you are having?
You are also invited to share screenshots if you wish.

Good job, of a truth this is a testatment that the platform is growing and has a future. As they do say that Rome wasn't built in a day
Congrats for the job. Al fin nuevas noticias.
Blurt growing everyday!
Nice job and looking forward for new development updates
Great job and many thanks to those that made this possible. Keep it up!
🙌
I am using the https://blurt.blog/ front-end when I am curating because I can see what is the value of my vote but for navigating factor I use https://blurtlatam.intinte.org/ front-end but it doesn't show the value of my votes when voting and I hope it gets fixed. I just want to say this issue.
But thank you @megadrive and the rest of the Blurt core team for adding this feature which has a good use for people who wants to belong to sole or set of groups for their purposes and interest.😀👍

I just created the Pepe Community 🐸. Excited for the future of Blurt Social!
ব্যক্তিগতভাবে আমার কাছে খুবই ভালো লাগলো। এই প্লাটফর্ম খুব চমৎকার একটি আপডেট নিয়ে এসেছে। community basses update।
Good improvement and am happy to see the community feature on the blurt front-end. Just like what @cryptopie just picked out, I love seeing my voting percentage and others too. Please ot will be cool if it's return back.
Am still trying to get use to tye whole new change but over time I know I will be use to it. Kudo's to all the blurt team.
Communities has had an impact on the look and functionality of the Blurt homepage...
Any way that can be rectified?
@nalexadre has fixed the backend so that it filters out the blurt-1xxxxx from the tags.
I have pushed the fix to the main RPC node (rpc.blurt.world) and to my own node (blurt-rpc.saboin.com).
Thanks for pointing that out!
Thank you!
I'll bring it up with the dev who worked on it.

Yeah,, I have create "AI Art" Community,, join man lololol
love the updates. I think if you guys can add your own crypto YouTube (like hive has threespeak)
Hive may have some competition!
There is dTube. That one has its own blockchain, and it's also integrated with both Blurt and Hive.
Barring that (a "Blurt YouTube"), maybe we could enable embedding (to posts and comments) of Rumble videos? It has been rising as a free-r speech alternative to YouTube recently, and maybe Blurtians use it. Perhaps there are a few other good candidates for enabling embedding, but Rumble would be a good start imo.
Yes. Rumble is a good one to add. I'll try to add embed support for it when I get the chance. There are some other video sites that could also be added.
A lot of the YouTubers I watch also have Rumble accounts that they use as a backup in case YouTube decides to nuke their videos.
I opened an issue for it on GitLab.

That's great, thank you very much.
Dtube won't let me post because its saying I need bandwidth,. I can't engage with any videos or anything. so I started using threespeak
I wish it was connected to Blurt
Congratulations and good job to the team!!!! 👏 thanks for sharing with us.
