News and links to recent curation activities on Blurt.
Note that after the latest links, we are starting to compile a list of all active curators and curation groups. This will make it easier for you to find the groups you may be interested in, especially those accounts and tags that need a short description regarding their focus or topic area.
Good to see an increase in curators using the #curation tag for their posts. The most important thing is to show bloggers that the project or community is active and voting. It is less important whether posts are daily or weekly, or whether they include a full list of upvoted posts or just a selection of the best. All those are up to the individual curator. I hope to see even more curation reports in the coming weeks, especially from those community accounts supported by the Blurt Foundation.
Also note that the frequency of Blurt Curation posts is likely to be about every two or three days. As the long list becomes even longer, Blurt users have an updated source for their own favourite topics. That is the real aim of this project.
Blurtutorials have published in stereo this week, with this curation report from @tomoyan, and this one from @kamranrkploy. Also amusing is that the posts highlight different articles. @Blurtutorials is a community account with a focus on tutorials - it looks like they are all either digital, software or computer-related, so would be worth clarifying whether this is true or there are just few tutorials posted on other topics. Curation posts weekly.
Ganadores Concurso ¡Te presento a mi héroe! | Winners Contest I present you my hero!. @Blurthispano is a private curation project for Spanish-speakers. I have mentioned before that I consider contests to be a form of curation, hence have added this.
Blurtespanol is a community curation tag, voted by @blurtespanol and managed by @lanzjoseg. I don't see any curation reports as yet.
Blurtstory ia a community curation tag, voted by @Blurtstory and managed by @wilhb81. It is a very popular tag, but what is it for? How is @blurtstory different to @blurtlife? Was it originally meant to be a Chinese language tag? I'd appreciate it if the curator would supply some more info :-)

One can create tutorials on anything.
they are all welcome 🙂.
#blurtutorials will support if it's a tutorial.
Yeah, thanks, after posting I did find your original community intro.
Great, will add update next post.
Re Blurtutorials, I found this: https://blurt.world/introduceyourself/@blurtutorials/introduction-the-blurtutorials-is-here
That answers one of my questions! Will add it in the next update.
Thank you for the mention!
#blurtutorials is for any tutorials, guides, how to, and its not just software, internet or technology.
Thanks, you may see I wrote a "comment to self" as I found your original intro post.
Great to see these publications. I do not always run across other curation projects, so what you are publishing allows me to also support them.
Congratulations, your post has been curated by @r2cornell-curate.
