Myself and @chiama took the gospel of blurt to some orphanages.
Has you all know, I enjoy giving to charity. Helping the needy around has become an hobby for me. I've done so many charity work in which I've shown you all some of it.
There is also no doubt about it that majority of people on blurt and a lot of communities on blurt like love giving to charity, so, we taught of it to bring orphanages to blurt platform as this will help people on blurt to contact them directly to render any form of help to them either by upvoting their post, resteeming their post, delegating blurt Power to them or even sending them liquid blurt.
On the part of the orphanages, opening an account on blurt will give them more visibility to more people around the world. Coming on blurt will also give the orphanages additional income as they are sure of earning something from their posts to support the donations they receive.
The orphanages will also have the opportunity to understand more what blockchain technology is and also look into investing in cryptocurrencies. Who knows, we might later have a token for them or we might even have an orphanage built on blockchain.
Bring these orphanages to blurt will also help to create awareness about blurt to the corporate organisations that support and partner with the orphanages.
On our first round of visit, we visited four orphanages and they are:
MOTHER THERESA'S CHILDREN'S HOME, GWARINPA
VICTORINE HOME FOR CHILDREN, GWARINPA
DIVINE WOUNDS OF JESUS CHRIST ORPHANAGE HOME, KUBWA
ARK OF REFUGE ORPHANAGE HOME, KUBWA
They were all happy to hear that there is a platform called blurt.
Here are some of the pictures from our visits
