Use Of Plastic Is Inhuman

Plastic is carcinogenic because it contains toxins that can cause cancer. The plastic material without the standard mark is even more dangerous, so stop buying anything that has no standard mark or proper safety coding. Use plastic only after checking the prescribed standard mark and safety code, which ensures that your health is safe. And then, who doesn’t know that plastic is the worst enemy of human beings?

There are different plastic materials that should be non-chlorinated, which causes less harm to your health and the environment. The plastic should be thick enough so that its particles do not enter the human system easily. To a certain extent, we should use BPA-free plastic products, which have no harmful effect on human health.

Experts predict that by 2025, billions of tones of plastic waste will exist on the planet. It will take hundreds of years to clear it if we can ever clean it completely. I remember an emergency being declared a couple of years ago in the Canadian city of Halifax because of plastic waste. They buried over 300 tones of plastic waste deep in the ground.

We all know that plastic cannot be burned completely, and it also releases harmful gases, which cause a lot of damage to the environment. Plastic contaminates air and water, which is why the ozone layer is getting damaged. The holes are increasing, making us prone to harmful UV effects at dangerous levels.

I do not understand what is stopping various governments, especially in third world countries, from shutting down the factories, that make plastic and banning its use. If we stop the source, then half the problem will be solved. "It will be like no plastic, no use." Tones of plastic waste will be reduced every day as a result, making the earth a safer place to live.

Are you aware that 40% of plastic waste ends up in rivers as drainage, causing significant water contamination and posing a growing threat to aquatic life? Nearly one-sixth of this comes from major cities, and more than half of all plastic waste comes from major cities, which generate thousands of tones of plastic waste every day.

The earth is getting hotter by the day. The alarm bell for the living world is already ringing at a high pitch. In our daily life, we depend on various plastic-made items. Check your lunchbox, a water bottle, or plastic utensils. Did we ever try to know if the plastic we are using is safe for food purposes?

There is a symbol on the back of every plastic product, and if it’s not there, it’s not safe to use. Actually, it is necessary to have this sign on every good quality product. This shows the quality of these products and what they can be used for. The symbols are called the RIC. These products are expensive but safe for human health. These symbols tell you about the quality of the plastic product you have in your hand and what it is made of.

For instance, PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is a terephthalate-based plastic. Liquids and semi-liquid products like soft drinks, water, ketchup, pickles, jelly, and peanut butter are stored in plastic jars and bottles. It’s relatively safer for food items. The US Foods and Drug Administration (FDA) has declared it hygienic for the packaging of food items.

High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is used in making milk, water, juice bottles, yogurt packaging, retail bags, etc. It’s also safe for food products, which makes them comparatively safer, besides being light and durable.

Polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) is used in the packaging of food products, such as milk products, sauces, meats, herbal products, spices, tea, coffee, etc. This plastic is strong enough to make it leak-proof.

Polypropylene (PP) plastic is used to make bottle caps, drinking straws, yogurt containers, plastic pressure pipe systems, etc. This plastic does not react quickly with any other chemicals, so it is used in the packaging of cleaning products and first aid products. Polystyrene products are used for foam packaging, food containers, plastic tableware, disposable cup plates, cutlery, CDs, cassette boxes, etc. It is safe for food packaging, but it is very difficult to recycle because harmful gases are released during burning. So it’s suggested that you avoid it as much as possible.

O-Type It is a mixture of several types of plastic. It contains mostly polycarbonate (PC). It makes CDs, sippers, sunglasses, ketchup containers, etc. This plastic is very strong. However, some experts say that it contains bisphenol A (BPA) which affects hormones. If used multiple times, it can harm the hormones in the human body. Therefore, its use should be avoided. Plastics from the PET, HDPE, LDPE, and PP categories are suitable for keeping food items. These come in the superior food grade category.

PVC and O-category containers release chemicals into the food, especially after heating. PS numbers should also be used sparingly. Do not keep food items in them. According to me, people should use bags made of cloth and also use earthen pots instead of disposal. Everything has its advantages and disadvantages, as plastic has made life easier for the common man. Along with this, a way has been found to end life quickly.

The use of plastic glasses, plates, and spoons is dangerous as plastic affects health in many ways. It disturbs the digestion system and increases the risk of stones in the kidney, gallbladder, and ureter. Because these are synthetic polymers, they are therefore harmful to the atmosphere. Even after burning them, they release harmful gases such as carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide that harm people’s bodies.

Last but not least, avoid bottled water because research shows that bottled water contains plastic particles that are harmful to your health and can make you seriously ill.

I take umbrage how they try to frame the pollution of plastics on the people, as though we demanded it instead of their forcing it on the world.

I believe the purpose is partially because plastics produce an estrogen like effect.

There has been a war on men taking place for many years, and part of this war has been the attack on male sperm counts. Men in many developed areas are having female hormones forced on them in plastics, in our foods and even in the city drinking water as the birth control pills (female hormones) so many women are taking can't be cleaned from the water when they are flushing it to be recycled.

There is also some talk that the masks we have been forced to wear has been forcing plastic micro particles into our systems.
