NOT EVERYONE IS TRYING TO PEPPER YOU (The other side of the coin)

Some people scroll through social media trying to sniff what is wrong with other people's lives.

They could see videos of a couple trying to live their best lives, for instance, and immediately think "they are hiding something", "marriage is not that easy", "they are not showing us the part where they just fought". Of course, they won't show you. You won't show us too anyway, so...
Marriages are not perfect, but social media newsfeed isn't God's throne room. And what would showing you their problems change? It would only add to the bad news making rounds right?

Some people try to imagine how other people are desperately trying to please them, or perhaps pepper social media inlaws and cousins when they are not truly as happy as they seem. This might be true for some people, but not entirely. Not everyone is trying to pepper you actually.

Some people just want to celebrate their little wins. Others want to share to encourage someone. Some may be trying to save them on the net as a reminder for how their journey has been. Some are trying to make a living while others are just doing social media, no 'strings' attached. Etc.

Admittedly, there are people trying to pepper others with all the fakeness and all, but if all you see when you see fine pictures and couples loving up and mansions, is fake life, then I'm afraid the problem is you.

Yes, you must not believe everything you see on social media, but try to look on the brightest side.
Couples may be having issues in their relationships, but their choosing to show pictures of themselves together could mean they are trusting God for a miracle. Pray for them. Trust God for a happy marriage for yourself and move on.

Someone shares something and it comes on your newsfeed; like, love wow (react), share, save, learn what you should, dump what you don't need, and move on.

You see videos of the move of God in a church/place, instead of overanalyzing why they should post it or something, celebrate God for it. If it doesn't settle well in your spirit, waka pass.

You are ruining your mind with all those negativity stored inside.

People have fake lives I agree, but that should be their problem, not yours. They're the ones maintaining the fake life, not you.

Your own is to admire the fine style and give your tailor, while trusting God for your own better days. And when it happens for you and you FEEL you should celebrate it on social media, why not?

When you have it in mind that they are just living their lives and it has nothing to do with you, then the problem is half solved.

If you feel peppered, pray. It may be because you want what they have. Pray and work towards it.

Let go of all that hatred and bad vibes. Live your own genuine life.

Post your wins. Share your fine pictures. Celebrate with others. Comment where necessary and waka pass on some things.

It's social media, don't let it affect your mental health. Everyone is trying to put their best foot forward, not necessarily trying to pepper you.
Selah.
