Hello dear friends, it's my pleasure to be participating in this week's edition of food contest.
And today I'm going to be showing you how to make my native soup. My native soup is called ukazi soup prepared with Achara and molded melon(Egusi).

So let's get started with the proces.
INGREDIENTS FOR UKAZI SOUP
There are 3 major ingredients for preparing this soup, which includes ukazi leaf, achara and molded melon, then other soup ingredients.
- Ukazi leaf:
Sliced ukazi leaf
Molded Melon:

AcharaCrawfish
Pepper
Maggi
Salt
Meat
Fish
Stockfish
Soup Thickner
Water
Palm seed
I made the soup and in an hour time food was ready.
PROCEDURES IN MAKING UKAZI AND ACHARA SOUP
Wash your meats and add little quantity of water, then onion, maggi and salt, then cook.
Cook the palm seed and squeeze out the oil.
Put your desired measurement to soup water and add the palm seed squeezed oil.
Add your stock fish and set your pot on fire for cooking.
Allow the water to boil very well for like 15 minutes, then add the molded melon and allow to cook for about 20 minutes.
Add the achara to cook alongside for 10 minutes.
Add your pepper, crawfish, maggi, salt and allow to cook for 5 minutes.
Add your cooked meat.
Add your soup thickner and allow to cook for 5 minutes.
Add your ukazi leave, then allow it to cook for 10 minutes.

It is very delicious and tastes beautifully nice.
It's my main native soup for all kinds of occasions in my town.
