Hey blurters I'm shabii55 How are you all, hope you a are good,

Sorry I could not post yesterday due to some reason so I am posting today for mothers day

Today I will talk to you about Mother's Day,
Women's Day, 8 March 1914. So far, discrimination and reactionary attitudes have denied full civil rights to women who have faithfully performed their duties as workers, mothers and citizens and who have to pay taxes to the municipality as well as the state. have to pay. Every woman should fight with a firm and unwavering intention for this natural human right. No pause or rest is allowed in this fight. Come, all women and girls, attend the 9th Women's Assembly on Sunday, March 8, 1914, at 3 pm.

It is celebrated for the political and social upliftment of women with a political and human rights theme selected by the United Nations. Some celebrate this day by wearing purple ribbons. But the first day was held in New York City in 1909 as a socialist political event. In 1917 the Soviet Union declared this day a national holiday, and it spread to other countries around. It is now celebrated by people in many eastern countries as well.

History

The day was first celebrated on February 28, 1909, on the call of the Socialist Party in America. After this it started being celebrated on the last Sunday of February. It was given international status in 1910 at the Copenhagen Conference of the Socialist International. At that time its main goal was to give women the right to vote, because at that time women did not have the right to vote in most countries.

In 1917, all the women of Russia, all the women, decided to go on strike for bread and clothes on Women's Day. This strike was also historic. The Tsar gave up power, the interim government gave women the right to vote. At that time the Julian calendar was used in Russia and the Gregorian calendar in the rest of the world. There is some difference between the dates of these two calendars. According to the Julian calendar, the last Sunday of February 1917 was on 23 February, while according to the Gregorian calendar that day was 8 March. At present, the Gregorian calendar runs all over the world (even in Russia). That is why March 8 was celebrated as Women's Day.

Thanks to the vigorous efforts of the famous German activist Clara Zetkin, the International Socialist Congress in the year 1910 agreed to the international character of Women's Day and a public holiday on this day.

Thank you🌹
