I am very excited to return back to my music class, after 4years ago I have stopped. 4years ago, I was going for music class where I was learning saxophone.

Saxophone is the single-reed woodwind instrument with a conical body, It made of brass. Sound is produced when a reed is on the mouthpiece, vibrate to produce sound wave inside the instrument's body.

There are types of saxophone;
Alto Saxophone
Tenor Saxophone
Soprano Saxophone
Bass Saxophone and more.

Alto saxophone is the only sax that is simplest to learn.

Like I said earlier that I was learning saxophone 4years and i I had learnt one or two things then for just two months. I was still amateur then. Though.

So, God gave me the grace to go back and learn it again. I started today and what I learnt to day was

Keys and how to run scales.

We have two types of keys on saxophone;

  1. Major Key

  2. Key Signature

We have 12keys on both keys.

Major Key has, 7keys which are key c d e f g a and b while
Key Signature has c# eb f# g# and b flat.

Today run Major key C

Key C is, d r m f s l t d

Key D is, c sharp e flat f sharp g sharp and b flat.

And the total is 12keys.

I also learnt Chromic scale or accidental scale on C major

So, the scale are; deh, moh, feh, she, toh.

I am going to upload the charts below 👇
