Last night as I was winding down to go to bed I got a skype pop-up that fakeologist was calling me. That was weird as I didn't have the skype program open at the time. Is this a new thing? I didn't pick up but when it rang again I gave in.
I ended up having a chat on his live show as he explained he'd read out my blurt blog on his live show and just wanted to get my take on the whole snake venom story doing the rounds.
I've been avoiding interviews for a few weeks, not sure why. Part of me feels I've said it all now and want to move on. I felt like I've been preaching to the choir for some time and what's the point.
It reminded me that it is kinda fun chatting with the fakeologist and sometimes I do need a kick up the bum to drag me out of my hermit hole.
He still doesn't like the blurt layout and moans about it a bit but still it is plugging Blurt and raising awareness of it. No such thing as bad publicity eh.

I had to laugh when I heard him say "shall we call NT? Just for a laugh." Like a prank caller. Cheeky monkey.
I also didn't manage to get to sleep till 4am after that so now my sleep pattern is back to night owl mode. Not good. I suppose I could benefit from a midnight snail rounding up outing if I'm gonna be up late. Waste not want not, as my mother used to say......

A snail rounding up?
The video is great, but I haven't quite gotten to you in it yet. This information has been coming to me from many sources. Invasion of the body snatchers.
Haha yeh the most prolific 'pest' I have here is snails and slugs. They hide in the day but come out at night to eat me cabbages etc. I don't want to kill them, so rounding them up and relocating is my best option.
He starts reading my blog at around 13 mins in then after that he calls me.

so I'm wondering. Biologic pharmaceuticals are now all the rage for a broad range of illnesses, from skin rashes to MS. All over the TV ads, at 1 1/2 minutes each. They are all injected, I believe. "Biologics." hm. I'm thinking there's venom in all of those.
There is no venom in any of them now. They can synthesize whatever they want to copy with their new technologies like CRISPR. No need to use the original biologics at all, it's all just chemical concoctions. Even when they say 'proteins' they are still talking about their chemical constructions. Similar to how pharma takes herbs used for millennia and boils them down to atomic level and reconstructing the bits they want.
so synthetic venom, in anything injectable.
Real venom is just a bunch of proteins probably to begin the process of digestion for whatever the snake wants to eat. They have been working on proteins for some time but just like genes and viruses they don't understand the processes of nature at all. If you use the word venom in it's original sense you could say all their injectable drugs are poison yes. All drugs are just poisons made from chemicals.
