1. Be honest:
When you are being dishonest, you are lying. When you lie, you are not telling the truth. And when you don't tell the truth, you are not being honest. Being honest means that you have nothing to hide. You can't be a good politician if you're hiding something. If you want to be a good politician, then you need to be honest.
2. Don't afraid to admit mistakes:
If you make a mistake admit it. Say sorry if some mistake happens and shows the people that you are human. People like to deal with other humans who they know are going to be fair and just. They don't like dealing with someone who's always trying to cover their tracks. So, if you make a mistake, say, "I'm sorry," and move on.
3. Be humble:
Humility is a virtue. Humility is about admitting that you do not know everything. Humility is nearly about knowing the thing's what you don't know. Humility is about having self-respect. Humility is about recognizing that you are not perfect. Humility is about realizing that you are only human. Humility is about acknowledging that you are not God.
4. Be yourself:
If you try to be someone else, you'll never get anywhere. People don't want to deal with clones; they want originality.
5. Don't take credit:
It's easy to think that everything we do is our own idea. But this is simply not true. We have learned from others who came before us. So don't ever try to take credit of someone's work during your journey. You can give credit where credit is due, but never ever take credit for someone else’s work.
6. Know your audience:
You need to know about who you are going to speak. Are they going to agree with you? Disagree with you? Or are they just going to sit back and listen? Knowing your audience will help you tailor your speech to fit their needs.
