Hae sab kuch moyassar phir bhi lagta kuch khas nahi,
Apne to he sare par koi hum saz nahi.
Lagta he jaese ab hum khud bhi apne hum raz nahi,
Bus bhid ka ek hissa he, ab hum me bhi raha kuch khas nahi.

The expat life abroad is unlike how people conceive. Yes, they get a lot of benefits and privileges, and of course, the exposure, but.. there are a lot of lacunas and loneliness run in their mind that they can never express.
People who live away from their natives always have that pressure to maintain an image where they present themselves as living the best and most lavish life, and are the happiest.
Yes! We might be living a lavish life but that does not define happiness. Most of the time, it will be a norm of the place where they live and a basic survival necessity, which is so-called lavish for the locals from where they belong.
If you dig deep down into their hearts, you will realize there is so much emptiness in them of being away from where they belong and the burden to maintain this fake image and fulfill the burden of the place where they are living.
Long story short, the moral of my blog today is, firstly, don't fake what you truly feel about where and how you live to your folks, and secondly, don't lose yourself so much to keep up with where you are living. No matter what you do, you cannot change the fact of where you belong and what you are. Hold up to your routes and express who you are to both worlds, from where you were and where you are.
