One way to make more money is not necessarily by doing more work. It is by charging more for the same work done or charging more per hour.
If you make 10 per hour now and you start charging 30 per hour, it means what took you 6 hours to make before, you can now make in 2 hours. That is four hours saved.

There are seven things that you can take advantage of to double, triple, or even quadruple your earning power.
If you take them seriously, you can 10X your earning power.

1. Certification
Becoming certified in certain professions means you can charge more than others who don't have that certification e.g. becoming a chartered accountant.

2. Competence
Somehow, we all know people who are competent at their jobs. And we are willing to pay more to get the job done.

3. Association
My barber increased the rate he charges per haircut. When I asked why he showed me the document posted on the wall. It turned out that he belongs to an association of barbers and every member of the association must charge a certain rate.

4. Specialization
There are doctors. Then there are surgeons. Then there are neurosurgeons. As you become specialized in a specific area, your charges go up.

5. Technology
If you employ a higher technology in your job while others are on a lower technology, you charge more. Those in the publishing and printing industry know this perfectly.

6. Scarcity
If the product you offer is scarce or your skill is scarce, it means you are rare. That means there will be a high demand for your skillset which means you control the price.

7. Visibility
It does not matter if a million people can do your job, if you are the one people know, it means you are the one who gets the jobs. This, to me, is one of the cheapest and easiest ways to increase your earning capacity.
