A few days ago, some of us went to the village fair on bikes at night. In different seasons different types of fairs can be seen in the rural environment which are very nice to enjoy. In the heat of the day, the people live in extreme heat and this fair is held every year at the time of 'Gazi Kalu Champavati Fair'. Another name of this fair is called Tal Shanser Mela. When I was very young, my friends used to go out for this fair on bicycles in the evening. The distance of the fair from our house is 8 km. The location of the fair is Chapaigachi village of Kumarkhali upazila. This fair is a very old fair.
When we were young, we used to listen to Gazi songs and other songs at the fairs in the rural environment. Which are the village people who like to go to fairs at night after working during the day and listen to music. Nowadays, fairs in rural areas are very few. Among the fairs that are very popular, this fair is held for many days. This time I went to this fair with my brother's friends at night. Sweet memories of that past came flooding back. We have a lot of memories here where we used to stop at different toy shops for shopping and talking with friends. There were many more mysterious stories that I can't tell now that are just memories.
When we left the bike and entered the fair, there were rows of shops on both sides. Different types of shops on one side sweet shops with different types of animal designs sweet food kadma, sach, bhuttar khai bhaji, jilapi which is the main attraction of sweet food. On the right side, I saw different types of fried food, many types of fried food, which were mixed very nicely and made delicious by singing and dancing. I tried to enjoy each and every food. I don't want to eat anymore. We had a plan before going to the fair. I will visit every shop and eat and drink the different types of food. That said, I was going to every shop and tasting every food.
Since the fair is centered around palm shells, I saw them in front of the gate of the fair and selling palm shells at the end of the fair. I ate that too. In every fair, Nagordola present stars have enhanced the beauty through lighting. It was great to see that in this kind of Nagordola, small children have to prefer to get up and have fun. Presently, there is no big or small difference. We didn't want to go up there just saw. Had a great time there at night. After a long time I enjoyed such a fair in rural environment.
