Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
The law of Christ states that: "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." And "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." Matthew 22: 37, 39.
It is the second law of Christ that we fulfill when we bear the burdens of others.
Brethren, the times are challenging but let us show a little kindness, love, empathy and mercy towards people around us.
There's always something we can do to help and encourage others. Let us not withhold ourselves from the little we can do.
The Lord is counting on us to bear the burdens of others based on our God given abilities. Refusal to do it is a violation of the law of Christ.
Let's pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the privilege to help people around us. Please let the zeal of the love of Christ consume us and make us burden bearers indeed, in Jesus name. Amen.
