Their is this popular adage from my place that says that you can only find solution to your problem when you know what is the cause of your problem.
Identify what often makes you upset if you have a habit of losing your temper. Long lines, gridlock on the streets, nasty remarks, and extreme exhaustion can all cause you to lose your temper. Knowing what gets you angry can assist you develop plans based on your triggers, but you shouldn't blame other people or external circumstances for your inability to remain calm.
