I'm really not going to run this one into the ground.
I have a very large backlog of notes taken over the course of the last 10 years or so of various storyline ideas. Some of them I find really funny. Some of them I leave in a "ehhh... maybe, maybe not" notebook.
I actually remember the inspiration for this particular story really well; perhaps surprisingly, it did not involve anyone who was bald. It really just involved me carrying on at work about being overworked and feeling like I was going to rip out my hair. Of course I took it to an extreme, as I'm wont to do.
