How Did Cap Lift Mjolnir
We will never forget the scene where Mjolnir starts to move, we all assumed it was Thor calling Mjolnir and to everyone's amazement, it was Steve Rogers the Captain himself.
Many fans have wondered and speculated how did Cap manage to do so, if you would look back to Avengers Age of Ultron, we saw all the Heros attempt to lift the hammer but failed, we even saw Tony and Rhodey attempt to lift it together and still failed, then walks up to Steve Rogers who attempts to lift it and to the amazement of Thor he managed to move it not fully but slightly.
Now some would ask did Cap know he could lift and he held back to save Thor the embarrassment or was there something holding him back, we all know him to be an upstanding citizen always fighting for what's right no matter the cost. Captain American put his own innocence on the line to help his friend Bucky Barnes.
Was the secret of knowing what really happens to Tony's parents kept from truly been worthy? as fans we can speculate and in my personal opinion I believe that the select played a role in him lifting the hammer. I believe within Captain America himself there was a battle between the good version of himself and the what he perceives to be the version of himself, when we saw the change in him where he accepted the person he is, one could even argue that he grew a beard to show the viewers that he is going through and at the end, he came out to be the version of Captain America we all wanted to see ready to deliver the famous catchline while holding Mjolnir "Avengers Assemble"
