Captain Marvel The First Avenger
The movie industry and comic universe have revolutionized since my childhood. We have always known men to be the superheroes and now we find women taking up leading roles and becoming phenomenal heroes we look up to.
One of these amazing women is Captain Marvel. Once she set foot on the scene she captivates her audience with her tenacious and brave facade. She's vibrant and unique and breaks down all barriers of stereotypical mindsets. She shows up at the right moment in the slowly dying Marvel universe to bring back life and spark once more.
Her character is so fierce and independent she makes any girl want to be her. Captain Marvel is said to be the inspiration behind the Avengers after teaming up with Nick Fury. To me the movie was about so much more than just saving the world, it brought to life the real gender-based issues we face daily. She has skills and intelligence that mirror her experiences in the field. I think a lot of people underestimate her capabilities and that's what shocked us all. Nobody expected her to be as strong as she was.
