I am a huge Superman fan therefore I am always torn between DC and Marvel, Superman is a character that most of us can most relate to on a daily basis and we often hear the term "I am not Superman"
He obviously can do a lot more in a short space of time due to the number of super powers he posses.
I often wish I had some sort of power which would make me almost invincible and be termed a Superman.
Besides having those powers, he is also a very kind, gentle hearted soul and he has compassion for humankind.
His traits and characteristics are exactly what lacks in humans around the globe but I guess that's why they refer to him as a character that is made up from imagination. He could only be an ideal that someone could only dream off.
The powers he possess are:
- Strength
- X-ray vision
- Ability to heal
- Super speed
- Immortal
- Teleportation
- Infrared
- Flight
One could only desire to have this in real life. I have watched most of the movies, old and new however my best interpretation of the movie was watching the Smallville series which I watched on marathon.
Whilst he seems invincible, he has only one weakness and that is Kryptonite which we see used against him time and time again.
