The rebirth of the X-Men universe is finally wrapping up and this has made the Cyclops even more powerful than before. Not only was he chosen to lead the military defense on the island of Krakow, he was able to reunite the entire Summers family as the new X-Men. And the first family trip is about to begin!
Now that Marvel has released the first official preview for X-Men # 2, it can be confirmed: Mutants are going to be immediately related to the death of Charles Xavier. However, our theory that Javier’s death is not actually tragic, just a push for a sense of Krakow protection seems to be correct. When Cyclops comes to his children Rachel and Knut (aka Marvel's youngest cable), he's not worried that Xavier will probably need to be renamed. Literally ... there are bigger problems to solve them.
The X-Men # 2 plot summary reveals that the next threat is not an individual or a group, but a new island that has clearly grown in response to the formation of Krakow. A terrible threat, or something older than the mutants who now call Krakow home? And with this extra detail that Krakow is running this conflict, those who suspect Krakow are not as innocent as it seems there may be more evidence soon. Fans will have to wait for the whole issue to be confirmed...!
