A Bangladeshi man has been arrested for allegedly cheating Spiderman in various popular tourist destinations in Malaysia. He was arrested by law enforcement from Melaka area last week.
The Bangladeshi expatriate used to walk around various tourist centers wearing Spiderman's clothes. Tourists became interested in seeing him and wanted to take pictures with him. He used to collect money from tourists in exchange for taking pictures.
The young Bangladeshi used to collect about 1000 ringgit from the tourists every day. More than one person was involved with him, local police said. They had no approval for such work.
As a result, Melaka Immigration Police arrested him last week after receiving allegations of cheating tourists for a long time.
