I still have many comics in storage all bagged and boxed up. Marvel DC lots of independant stuff but my real love of comics stemmed from getting 2000ad as a kid. Every saturday I'd wake up early and run down to the news agents to pick it up so It wouldn't get damaged and then carefully read it back in my bedroom. Lovingly bag it up and into my comic box it went. Aside from obviously Judge Dredd my favourite character was Rogue Trooper. A gentically engineered soldier(GI) made to be able to breathe the toxic air that had been created during the war between the Norts and the Southers. Betrayed on their first mission all but Rogue were slaughtered but he saved the bio chips from the heads of his 3 dead friends so they could be cloned again and kept the chips in his helmet, gun and backpack. They could actually function and speak to him and do tasks like fire his gun etc. His only mission now was to find the traitor that betrayed them. I mean a blue gentically engineered soldier sporting a mohawk hair do! Whats not to love?
