Well it has finally come DC's Joker war!( Batman and it is freakin epic!.Let me start by saying there was a massive and well appreciated nod to the Man who laughs storyline as we see Joker's murder victim, Claridge the diamond magnate.
We then get to the main story, where we see one of Joker's goons contacting Punchline inter cut with a news reel.
We then cut to Joker with some random stranger in crime alley. The Joker wishes to purchase an old theater in which we see is filled with several Jokerized Gothamites.
We then cut to the GCPD led by Harvey Bullock as they rendez vous with Mr. Underbroker, having had come from filing a civil rights injunction to stop the police from harassing Wayne enterprises and its owners. He enters Wayne enterprises telling his associate that Joker wishes to purchase every movie theater chain in Gotham.
We then see batman breaking into one of Wayne enterprise's buildings housing a bat cave along with Punchline and a subdued Lucius Fox. We then see a confrontation between the bat and Punchline ending with the bat being gassed but not before Punchline unveils a new batsuit.
The issue let's off with batman stumbling to an exit and being blown up by one of his bat
planes.
A very good issue a few good unanswered which could lead to some pretty good sub plots if written correctly.
