The issue starts with the Robyn king having the JLA trapped shows them amedal of valor attained by a Wonder Woman that he killed.
He gets interrupted by the Darkest knight claiming that he has a god to kill and instructs Castle bat to hold them, Castle bat turns into a giant Batman and begins attacking killing the Grimm Knight with a wrecking ball of plain inertron.
The castle bat is then destroyed by Lex Luthor. We then see Perpetua who is telling earth-49 that it was time to choose their god. She is then interrupted and attacked by the Darkest Knight.
We then cut back to the JLA where Lex Luthor is yelling a story of when he was child and of how he would always go to a planetarium and that one day the projectionist loaded the film of how the universe was created wrong, and Lex began seeing it reverse from modern day to the beginning.
Lobo then comes into the with the small box of Metal X shards he got from Death Metal: infinite hour exxxtreme!
Wonder Woman laments that the MetalX shards isn't enough fight the Darkest knight.
Lex then tells that only the truth can successfully and that ever since Perpetua was first locked away key truths of our universe and history have been hidden away from us.
And also through out time, brave men and women have invented machines to seek the truth, to peer into the heart of reality and that he has designed such a machine.
He also tells that with the Metal X the JLA can be guided to the Forge of Worlds and make the machine.
Lex tells that with the machine they can unlock the key truths inturn connecting all of them and creating powerful stream of Anti-crisis energy that they can use to fight the Darkest Knight.
Wondie then tells the JLA to split up and gather as they will need to destroy earth, Sups recruits the Legion of Doom, Wondie and Lobo create an Army of Lobo clone known as 'Main Men' They are joined by the Supermen, Red lantern corps, Black Adam and Superman Prime.
They all attack the earth with everything they have, the issue let's off with the Darkest Knight sending off his children with haste to interrupt the heroes's plans.
